hey roger has the site been prepared for the job trailer yet? no! and it is not my fault! job trailer? uh i am not sure? I have no idea why don't you ask jack! hes responsible of scheduling! not me! actually? i was sick yesterday! could you fill me in on today's schedule? Rodger has no idea what Judy is talking about. what should he say? this is not a good response. because roger is taking the question personally! Judy just wants information shes not blaming anyone. this is a fair response although roger gives an answer, he could improve his response by telling Judy he was sick and that he needs to know the whole days scheduled! this is not a very good response! roger is being defensive rather than providing Judy with useful feed back.  this is the best response! because it provides just with the feedback that Rodger needs more information. as you saw effective communication is a complex process. the sender, the message, the receiver and feedback are critical of the success of ...
